PHU Series User Manual

               Interface Configuration
When the PHU is under remote control, if the PHU display
is not on the meters page, parameters cannot be set, and an
error will appear in the upper-left corner of the display. For
safety and consistency of operation, SCPI control
commands via the interface (USB, GPIB, RS-232, etc.) are
accepted only when the instrument is on the “Meter” page.
When other pages (e.g., MENU for advanced parameter
settings) are active, the interface supports query commands
               only.
This design prevents external interfaces from altering
parameters during complex menu operations, ensuring
reliable and predictable configuration. If a setting or
parameter-changing command is sent while not on the
“Meter” page, the instrument typically returns the SCPI
error -221, “Settings conflict”. Query commands, however,
               execute normally without errors.
